We would be delighted to welcome your group for a visit to Shaw House. We offer a standard self-guided visit or a pre-booked guided tour.
Standard self-guided visits are free of charge during our public opening hours (February to September). It is advisable to check ahead of your visit to see if there are any ticketed events taking place on the date chosen.
Audio guide handsets and headphones are available from reception, subject to availability. You can also purchase a full colour printed guide to the House to take home as a souvenir. Audio guides are free but donations welcomed.
Pre-booked guided tours can be arranged for groups of between 10 and 60 people. These tours would include the main rooms in the House, as well as some areas not usually open to the public. Guided tours are £6 per person which includes a hot drink from our on-site café.
The Exhibition Rooms will also be open to view, as well as the ‘Dressed for Shaw’ costume exhibition.
Exclusive private tours can be accommodated outside of our public open days and standard opening hours, depending on availability. There would be an additional fee for this which can be discussed upon booking.
