Arts & Culture Passport01 October 10:00
The Arts & Culture Passport is a free resource, suitable for children aged 5 – 12. The initiative encourages young people to explore the creative provision of each venue and record their experience through simple, engaging activities, as well as collecting stamps at each location on a map of the area.
Contributing to the area’s access to arts and culture, and demonstrating their commitment to the town and communities, the collaboration across these organisations provides an aspirational opportunity for young people to get more involved in arts and culture, with the potential of continuing on do an Arts Award, which is a nationally-recognised achievement. The activities in the Passport are based around the ‘Discover’ Arts Award.
The Passport is free of charge to complete, however if you would like to receive an official certificate from Trinity College London, a small charge of £3.50 is payable at the Corn Exchange Box Office.
The Passport can be picked up from the Corn Exchange, Newbury Library, Shaw House and West Berkshire Museum
