Workshop: Willow for Christmas

01 December 10:00

In this workshop we will be making a variety of decorative willow objects (stars, wreaths, reindeer and bells) to celebrate the festive season.  Along the way we will explore different weaving techniques, giving you an insight into working with this versatile material.  Learn about the history of willow, how it is used today and how complex objects can be made using natural materials and minimum of basic tools.

All materials will be provided but please bring secateurs if you have them and remember that willow is a natural material and can be mucky – so wear old clothes!

The museum and café are open from 10am – 4pm.
