Workshop: Make Your Own Fascinator24 March 11:00
Learn how to design and create your own unique Fascinator to compliment an outfit or the theme of a wedding or event, using various millinery techniques, such as sewing, rolling, steaming, shaping and trimming.
There will be variety of materials available to create your individual look but if you have any trimmings such as feathers or flowers that you particularly want to use then please bring them along.
What to bring to the workshop:
Materials are provided but if you have them, please bring;
Scissors, needles, pins, thread, tape measure, apron.
The café at Shaw House will be open selling sandwiches, cake and refreshments, or you are welcome to bring your own lunch and picnic in the grounds.

From her studio in Boxford, Emma Moscow creates stylish and beautiful couture hats, fascinators and headpieces.
Emma studied fashion at Berkshire College of Art and Design and Millinery with Rose Cory, renowned teacher and Milliner to the late Queen Mother.
Emma believes in designing hats that flatter and compliment her clients, allowing them to feel confident in standing out from the crowd. Each hat and headpiece is a unique design that is handcrafted using traditional techniques.
Workshops are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your booking onto any other session at either Shaw House or West Berkshire Museum and pay any higher price difference.
