Thumbelina – Indoor Puppet Theatre31 May 14:00
There was once a girl so small that she could float on a lily pad and ride on the back of a dragonfly.
Hans Christian Andersen’s magical tale of a girl no bigger than a thumb, and her encounters with a frog, mouse, mole and swallow is played gently amongst sunny fields and gardening tools.
Using traditional glove and rod puppets, this is an excellent introduction to the theatrical experience that will engage and touch young hearts and minds.
